'99 Burb - Driver door and interior lights

Driver door - seems like others have same prob. When exiting from inside the car, often have to give it a good shoulder to open. Also, when a door is open, the interior lights don't come on. Fuses are good. Is there a switch or sensor somewhere that controls that? Price?

Try lube on door latch.
Is door hinges sagging down?
