signal fuse keeps blowing!!! HELP!

I've got a 2003 CR-V that keep blowing it's signal light fuse. I've replaced it more times than I care to count and have spent too much money on diagnostics only to be told they can't find the cause.

It doesn't appear to follow any pattern. I think it's blowing when I try to turn right, but I can't be 100%. I'm NOT breaking at the time. I do not have a trailer hitch.

Any advice?

Re: signal fuse keeps blowing!!! HELP!

Here's a little trick for you to try, this is very helpful for a fuse that pops and you can't find the cause.
Get two female and two male spade connectors, some wire and a light bulb. **The two male connectors will need to be modified as your CRV uses mini fuses**
Wire up the light bulb and plug it into the fuse socket. Reproduce the condition where the fuse blows, the light should illuminate as it is now the load in the circuit. Hopefully the light should stay illuminated, since we're talking about a turn signal it may flash. With the light illuminated and not on a car seat or a rug where it could burn something or start a fire <---very important. Begin to unplug the light starting at the light socket and working back to the source of the power. If the light goes out then you've identified area of the short to ground. Another helpful trick while the light is on is to shake the wiring at various locations and see if the light goes out. Beyond this method is the tin foil trick and I won't speak of it here for fear of the forum hosts telling me to shut up. ** that one is real dangerous**
