Re: Running Code P0122
Testing: TPS voltage should be between .60 to .70 volts.
Measure the voltage at the sensor. If the volt is too low, Check the 5 volt reference at the sensor. If the 5 volt reference is good the TPS is bad. The PCM will default to set values if this code is set. Gray wire = 5 volt reference Dark Blue wire = TP Sensor signal Black = Ground |

Re: Running Code P0122
Will do first thing in the morning. Two questions, can i have a brief explanation as to where i can find the sensor exactly ( or what it looks like)
Also, what if my reference isn't showing 5 volts? |

Re: Running Code P0122
Check your "Private Messages". Sent the wiring diagram and troubleshooting info.

Re: Running Code P0122
EDIT: i got the 5 volts out of the reference wire. But how do i test what the tps is putting out if the wiring harness has to be plugged in? Or does this already mean that its bad?

Re: Running Code P0122
I "knick" the wire with a knife, and test voltage there. Of course tape up the area afterwards.
