Laguna running on cylinders 1 and 4

Hi
I have a Laguna 1.8L 16v that is only running on cylinders 1 and 4. I have had the coils checked for cylinders 2 and 3 and they are ok. Its only when they are in position 2 and 3 when they are not sparking, any ideas? control module broken?
