low cylinder pressure cause failed emissions?
my buddys car wont pass echeck bc its hc count if at like 7x the limit. limit is 250 and he had 1480.. has a "high flow cat" apparently passed for the last guy, but i replaced his plugs and wires and did notice cylinder #3 has 75 psi compression rest have like 149 psi iirc.. and that plug was carbon fouled. would the low compression cause it to fail e check that bad? or do u think its his tune, his tune looks way to rich to me every rpm setting it gets like one point richer up till 8krpm and his setting is at for 1k is like -12 or -10, car has wideband but wont read anything but lean...? idk y its doin that no matter what i do on the afc the wideband reads fully lean at idle. but car sounds different when i make changes so ik the afc is working. just cant figure out the echeck thing..
