Question 20 Inch Wheels

Going to be purchasing some wheels/rims soon and was wondering if 20's would fit on a 97 maxima se. I beileve I've seen pictures of maxima's with 20's. But I'd like to be 100% sure that they will fit before I spend a few grand..

If 20's dont, I know 19's will. And I'd be just as happy either way..

THanks !

20's will fit but it's cutting it close.

You have to be careful that your tires don't rub against the wheel wells when you are making turns.

20's are too big on a Maxima unless it is absolutely slammed. You might as well buy an S.U.V. Please don't diss us Maxima owners by putting some ghetto, gay-looking 20's on your car.

20`s are a little to goofy for a maxima. the biggest i would go is 19". most people here would agree. for the most well rounded set of wheels 18" are perfect. nice look and yet doesnt harm performance as well.

dude, go for what you want...personally i think 20's are too big for a max. but it doesn't matter what we all think, if you think they'll look tight, then go for it

I was just asking if they would fit.. I like to know everything I possiably can about ALL my options before I make any final decisions. I'm probably gonna be goin with 19's, Just for the sake of doin that "extra" step. Goin that little extra mile to make it look a bit better, and to stand out from everyone else that has 18's. But I do agree.. 20's are too big. And to much of a hassel.

when you get bigger rims does it screw up your speedometer reading?

yeah, it sure does, whenever you get bigger wheels you have to get the speedo recalibrated, cause it measures speed based on an equation that takes wheel size into account. the bigger the wheel, the less times it is going to turn at a given speed
