91 park avenue headlights will not come off bright

I have a 91 park avenue with a 3.8 liter aprox 280000k
the head lights will not dim and ocasionaly will go out i've checked all bulbs grounds fuses and corrected some problems.
Im wondering does this car have a daytime running module or some other sensor that may be malfunctioning or simply is the dimmer switch faulty.
I cant seam to find anything relating to other modules on my online resources to the locale library.
So im hoping some one can shed some light on this
Thanks

No DT running lights on a 1992 that I am aware of! I would try a new dimmer switch first, they only cost about 15-bucks.
