Im usually a fan of huge drops and bigger wheels. But I like the look of your car, looks hardcore and strictly business. Nice work, especially on the brakes.

Looks amazing. The black with red calipers is the way to go. Did you get that setup as a kit? If so what kind of a deal did you get?

Re: Nice wheels+BIG brakes+suspention= SEXY DSM

they are EVO 8 Brakes... with the knuckle swap... the calipers where powder coated by Maximal Performance i chose to use hawk HPS Pads, and GOD DO THEY STOP!!!! HOLY GOD! i almost flew through the windshield the first time i.... "tested them out" i love the way they look, the performance i couldn't be happier with. Highly recommended to anyone who just isn't getting enough from the dual pistion (AWD BIG BRAKE) setup. not to mention the respect and comments i get about how bad ass my brakes are! more people are intiminated by the big brembos... ricers don't really bother me anymore with trying to race, now its mostly high end (saline, GT500, and Cobra mustangs) WS-6 Trans am's, SRT-8's Evos, STI's and Porsche's that give me any type of attention... which is interesting... guess its time to get my new clutch and max out this 16g.... maybe take out a Saline mustang or two...

Re: Nice wheels+BIG brakes+suspention= SEXY DSM

all said and done it was roughly $1400... but i went all out on the pads, powder coating, BF goodridge SS lines, brand new seals, brand new knuckles, bought a tie rod end separator, brand new OEM Mitsubishi caliper bolts (front ant rear), brand new caliper pins and clips, ATE Super Blue fluid. i mean, everything with the brakes is BRAND NEW.

Slotted rotors and HPS pads I didn't even get 25k before the pads were gone.

25k on a set of performance pads sounds good to me. I have HPS pads but they are pretty new. Lol, I have barely put 25k on my car in the 3 years ive owned it.

Re: Nice wheels+BIG brakes+suspention= SEXY DSM

The pads were so so. I didn't buy them again when I replaced mine last year. They just weren't that good of a street pad. They did stop ok driving in town but they did not stay hot enough to really stop the car quick. They would be a better track pad than on the street.
