ignition locked after heater core installion, PLEASE READ!!!Dont know sensor/fuse!

Everybody knows how fun the heater core is on this vehicle, from not being able to reach the hose clamps to the very time consuming disassemble and reassemble of the dashboard.
Heres my problem!!!
i installed the dashboard after the heatercore, made sure all the wires were in, i managed to finish it and start the car, sweet i say!!!!!
I Go to put it in gear and forgot to put the plastic clip on the shifter cable, so when i put it in gear it stays in park and just pulls the cable.
I went a head and pulled the couple things apart and found out the electrical plug that plugs in by the shifter isnt plugged in all the way, so i push it in, attach the clip to the shifter cable bracket, and now when i go to put the key in, i think the computer doesnt think im in park, or something along them lines.
So when i go to put the key in, it wont allow me to turn it to the start position, i know the car runs and drives, but it does have a security system and shit on there. Is there a way to bypass the center council sensor by just jumping it, or is the computer just stupid and now has to be reset somehow. I did try to disconnect the battery, hammer on the brakes, slap it with a hammer, spit and shine the vehicle and still nothing. Looking forward to any replies and soon, i got the first phone call from the lady looking for her vehicle, so i have another couple days. lol!
