car alarm problems with an 07 saturn ion

my car alarm keeps going off 5-10 mins and i hit the button on the keyring to stop it then within 5-10 mins it goes off again..i dunno what the problem could be but now that my car is unlocked it hasnt been going off but i dont wanna keep my car unlocked..so if anyone could give me any reason why this is happening or any tips, i would greatly appreciate it..thanks

You need a bcm Body (control module) Do you have warranty?? you can still lock you doors with out activating the the alarm, just lock it from inside the car, don't use the transmitter
