For all motor go b16 good for top end speed. B18a is good for turbo but also can be used as all motor. They are slow on top end but have more torque than b16
Both are good motor so i 'm an all motor guy and i voted for b16. |

i had the same prob in either goin b16a or b18a (not much diff on b18a & b just diff yrs) but if i was to go b18 i was gonna go ls/vtec. like mellowboy said b16 is good for top speed not to mention vtec, but if u go ls/vtec thats a diff story of course. after all the thinkin i decided to go b18c (GSR)
. ls/vtec would be nice but u gotta kno how to treat it and maintain it & im not so educated in that & b16's are like cell phones now in days "every1 has one" so ill be 1 of the fews with a gsr & thats my 2 cents

I agree thou. Do what you want man. I really can't b16 or b18 cause I am more of a D kind of person. I had a B16 once and If I were gonna do it again I would Do a B18.

Fruck all that chit nam! I would go with a Dart B20 block and a B18c1 head.... I have seen with my own two eyes a custom b20 block that had a H22A4 head on it
its in my frends brothers car! The setup he has (Not sure what internals) with a hybrid turbo (Not sure what that is iether) is making 512Whp @ 18 lbs of boost and he car turn that shit up to 24! Im like godamn! When he showed me dyno's! This is his street car also (Its in a pearl green crx) that car smokes all kinda corvets and vipers and shit... Its insane! |
