spedo cable problem
I changed my tranny and im having a problem with the spedo cable the spedo dont work now is there a trick to putting it in?

Did u plug it all the way in? Double check on that.

Yeh that happened to me when i swapped. I thought i had it in all the way but i didnt'.

You have to get the key on the end on the cable in perfect when you put it in the tranny or it won't go in all the way. Just trail and error.

Yup. Trial and error.
I sometimes screw up my speedo cable when changing my oil filter. One time, when I changed an alternator, it took me three days to get it to work again. Pull over, pull the cable, stick it in. Drive. Pull over, pull the cable, stick it back in. Drive. You get the idea. Don't give up hope. It'll feel SOO good when you finally get it in there right.
