Its time for some CARLAW!

Men, too many times we have been asked what street racing is. Why do we do it? What is considered a race car and what is a ricer? What is a "flyby"? What is the propper way to signal a win or a loss? ect...

It has become clear that we need rules, ney, LAWS!
You have all seen the MANLAW commercials right? well its time we did a little manlaw of our own. Its time we sat down, discussed, voted and wrote the book on CARLAW.

The Stig and myself have dicussed a list of primary street racers we would like to invite. First and foremost he would like to let you all know that he holds the head chair at this table or what be it. So he is the Burt Reynolds of our group. with that said I have already made it my job to invite key members to join us, I selected them because they are well respected in this community and most importantly, They are street racers who know the sport all too well.

The topics and laws we will be discussing will be open to everyone. everyone can participate, afterall AF is an open forum, BUT unless you are an ocassional street racer your vote will not count. We need to defy the laws of the street people, so no rookies with wigged out and clueless ideas will be heard.
As of today the official membership list reads only Stig, SL3000gt and myself but I expect more of you to sign up to our cause.

Oh and one more thing. We need a name. We cant use "Men of the Square Table" as it is already taken so our first order of business is to come up with a name for ourselves.

the floor is now open to suggestions.

Re: Its time for some CARLAW!

Hmmm, I am going to have to sleep on a name. I have already got the seat as Griffin (AKA Undercover Brother). I think first order of business is to establish a list in which there is a name matched to each person to whom they represent. I know Matty is Reynolds and I am Griffin, but I forget who you are agian Musashi. Another thing is that we could take pm's from people who want to join and discuss membership, etc. Just throwing some ideas out there.

Boasters. Most definately. The idea is that the men of the table are real men, guys who really know their shit, and if they don't know all of it, they know enough of it so that they can offer a clear, concise, respectable opinion. You don't want to come across as an asshole or pompous, but as something confident and sure of yourself.

Instead of Men of the Square Table, hows about Men of the Block, as in engine block?

THE 2 LITRE BEATER SQUAD!! Of course...that would only involve me. How about...CARLAW SQUAD...or...CLUB CARLAW. Atleast something that involves the name of CARLAW. Meh, just my thoughts.

I'd want to be the guy who cut his own arm off so he could go back to climbing a mountain to take a leak off of it.

Re: Its time for some CARLAW!

Sorry, Carlaw Kings sounds dorky. You need something manlier than that if you want to use the manlaw idea.

I say you call yourselves the rotary club and you could all drive RX7s and RX8s. All joking aside, what do you think about Knights of the Engine Block/Crankshaft since you seem to like that theme? Maybe Knights of Combustion?
