Exclamation fuel relay and electrial question

My electric window won't roll up but its only the passenger I don't know where to start? Also where is the fuel relay located how would I know if mine is bad? My fuel pump had went bad but instead they said it was clogged but Im thinking it might be something to do with the fuel relay because I don't think its getting enough gas

Re: fuel relay and electrial question

If just the passenger window won't go up or down and all the rest do, then the switch or the motor or the gears are bad. If you can hear the motor then the gears are gone. You can get a new elevator gear assembly. You have to take off the door panel and drill out the indentations in the frame to get it off. Of course, if you hear nothing when you hit the switch then it is either the switch or the electric motor that is bad.

The fuel pump relay sends power to the fuel pump. When they said it was clogged they probably were talking about the inlet screen back in the tank or the fuel filter between the tank and the engine. When you turn the switch to ON can you hear the fuel pump? If so it is all right. What makes you think the engine is not getting enough fuel? Is it idling rough and have low power? Need to be a bit more specific in order for us to give you help.

recently the window just went up so I'm guess that it maybe the gears but I havnt rolled it down to find out yet. Someone just told me that the car sounded like it wasn't getting gas so if my fuel relay is bad then would I hear the fuel pump when I turn the key to on? Is there a way to figure out if its bad because it just stopped on me today after I filled it up and I had the same problem wouldn't start. I know its not the starter because its cranks like it wasnts to turn over bur it doesn't. Just siounds like crank crank crank crank and I tried pumping the gas pedal nothing. Could a clogged filter prevent it from starting? Also the sound when I turn the key is that the sound of teh relay or the pump? wrapped up in a nutshell the car has gas but it just wont turn over the mechanic told me he claned the fuel pump out could it just be time for a new one and the filers was dirty would changiong the filter help it start. Also sometimes I hear like the car takes a huge inhale like it might choke but it never turns off and I just give it some gass and it drives fine is that something to worry about?
