I dunno, but I am pretty sure your insurance will be cheaper if you get a 4dr because they think you are less likely to soup it up, and a 4dr is not considered a "sports car"

I got my Integra for 5,500. Its an LS with alotta miles (117,000)on it so im gettin the new 03' accord 3.0 vtec engine swap pretty soon. Get a cheap integra and use the rest on parts. 2 door is the only way to go on integra also. I prefer the black color too, i believe it looks the best
LS - 140 stock GSR - 180 i believe new Type r - 205hp <-- not possitive but the new 03 engine for the accord is 240 hp and 212 torq. at 6000rpm's:smoker2: |

man if you can find a G2 GSR...i'd buy it up as fast if you can...they are hard to find....and like kidrocket said BADASS
but i'd stick to the years 94-95 for the ecu-like 4TH said and as far as the insurance goes...i suggest you get quotes on the car before you buy it...and dont be surprised if you gotta pay $200 a month for full coverage but i do like the 240sx idea? keep us posted |

To save money on insure, dont buy the GSR! They will rape you so hard in the butt... A 16 year old is not the kind of guy they want behind the wheel of that.
Go ahead and get and LS for around $5-6000. Then spend close to $2000 on the LS/Vtec swap. It used the block from your LS (rebuilt) and a b16 head, and your looking at a good 200 horses with the right pistons and some cams. You will have the power of a GSR, but without the cost of a motor swap or insurance. The best part: Insurance thinks you're driving an LS! |

But my insurance jumped from 900 / yr to 1200 / yr after some lady sideswiped me (my fault, but I think her excessive speed also contributed to the accident)

I can't seem to find a decent 95 240SX around MD, the ones here are either automatic/nasty color/retarded mods on them... and they are over 8k...
