99 sl2 wiper problems
My 99 sl2 is having windshield wiper problems. The driver side works fine, however the passenger side barely moves (maybe a half inch) upon turning them on. I can move the passenger side arm freely, and I know that shouldn't happen. It drops down very far below normal on the windshield.. Is there linkage or springs that could be the problem? Thanks for any advice.

Re: 99 sl2 wiper problems
Of all the things ive done with saturns, i have not ever had an issue with the wipers (*knocks on wood*). IIRC they should be bolts holding the blades to the actual rotating assembly. If the bolt came loose its possible the motor is turning however the wiper are is not tight around it thus it doesnt move in sync

Re: 99 sl2 wiper problems
I had the same problem with my 99 S/W your wiper blade arm is striped you either have to replace the arm with a new one or do what I did I applied a thick coat of epoxy glue into the inside diameter of the mounting hole and let it cure.Chased the hole with an undersize drill bit, Then I mounted it back onto the splined shaft that it mounts to and then tighten up your mounting bolt,it has been working four months.
