94 sl2 auto trans prob when cold

ive got a 94 sl2 that when temp dropped here recently only from mid 60s to mid 30s when i start it in the mornings it takes off like its in high gear . i only drive about 6miles to work and after i get there and kill the motor and restart it it will shift like nothing ever happened the rest of the day even when it sits for 8 hours. but next morning itll do the same thing when cold . would appreciate any help.

New ECTS ! Replace the one with the 2-wire sensor. Should be good to go after that!
