I need help.

I am a 16 year old. I dont have a lot of money to spend on cars. My buddy has a supercharged z28, another one has a 90' turbo supra, and my best friend has a 1990 300zx naturally aspirated. I have $3500 to spend on a used car. I am looking for a car that can hang with these without having to pay a fortune. Could someone please help me? I am open to all opinions. I want to spend $3500 on the car then spend about another 3k on performance parts. What kind of cars could hang with these?

1995-1997 Mistubishi Eclipse or Eagle Talon, either or would be perfect for your group and definatly in that price range and easy to upgrade with performance parts.
