Burning oil.... but how???

I have a 1.6L '01 accent. auto. I find routinely that my car goes empty on oil in a somewhat fast pace. I have no idea too. It never has oil spots or puddles under it while parked for long or short times. I changed the oil about 2k miles ago(1 month) and checked it yesterday and it was empty. I have never seen it smoke once.
Any ideas what could be doing all the oil consumption.

Re: Burning oil.... but how???

Sometime, when the oil filter or the oil pan nut are not properly fixed, the oil can leak out of the engine. Especially when the engine is running, because oil pressure increase.

So run your engine, have someone press the gas pedal (3000rpm), and check under the car and under the hood, all around the oil filter to see if you don't have any leak.

If you have, bring the car to the garage. Wou have 3 month of warranty on oil change.
