Re: Hello from 2005

^These guys started it all back in the early 2000s.

Since i made this thread, i'll start.

Original Name: Rice(er), joined when i was 18 senior year in highschool looking to get a first car. I'm 22 now. Bought a 1.8L 5-speed corolla. Sold it and bought old skool toyota rwd sports cars. Went to college for a few years, never graduated, the college life is hard and overwhelming. Planning on returning to school soon, perhaps in the fall. Working 2 part time jobs to save up at the moment. Hardcore Toyota Fan! Will always own a toyota and nothing else!

J/K man.

I still have the LeBaron. I have two actually. One is a parts car which will be donating sheet metal to the GTC shortly at the body shop. So I need to get them both stripped ASAP.

I also have a Dodge Stealth R/T TT which was the DD for a while but I got a new job that gave me a 2008 Ford Escape to drive around. So I now have two project cars.

Re: Hello from 2005

I'm still here. Although the Civ didn't have a B16, but rather a swapped D15 with cams/int/head/exh/pulley. Quite a bit and handled well.

The GS-T was a great car, and I miss driving it. But unfortunately, I wanted bigger and better things which is what I am looking for still up to this moment.

As for some other members that I think are missing from the list:

drftk1d (didn't know what he had up until I last saw him on the forums)
mister sinister (vehicle unknown)
street_racer_00 (had a 00+ Maxima)
Neutrino (AF mod, good friend of Poly. Moved back to his home country)

I'll think of a few more later that I would like to see come back here and post later on.

Yeah, I don't know why Andrei gave up on us. I still talk to him regularly though. He currently owns a Ford Focus Diesel.

Re: Hello from 2005

I knew there was something screwy about him...a Ford guy huh?

Well, a little joke a freind told me once:

"There's one thing Ford did that was smart...they circled the problem."

Re: Hello from 2005

I dunno, tell that to the Ford Fusion GT. TT V6, I think the estimate is high 300s for HP. Concept drawings look great, so hopefully they follow through.

Re: Hello from 2005

^ROFL

He said he was going to get an SRT-4 in Germany but he stuck with his Focus. At least Ford was polite enough to do at least that.

As for the TT Fuzion. Ford is hemorrhaging money out of their ass. They can't afford to build anything cool. Besides, they'd just give it to Ford Europe and tell the American public to fuck a duck.

Re: Hello from 2005

Ford Focus ST And I shall post in here as much as a please, good sir.

But I actually think the point of the article was to say how it was staying stateside this time instead of going the way of the Cosworth to Europe.

Re: Hello from 2005

Well I am still around, I check out the threads all the time. I am overseas often so I don't have a lot of time. I still love cars and am considering a C5 (z06 hopefully) when I come back next time. No races lately, the civic is nice, but it is just not what anyone would call fast haha. I do not race it at all.

Dreamspawn is occasionally in the 3/S section...as well as Igovert, who pops in every once and a while. Havent heard from rocker in a while, I know he used to post in the 3/S OT thread a lot
