Re: Abs Light

I have a problem along the same line. The abs light comes on then the brake light. They stay on for a couple seconds then they go off. During time that there on the windows switchs don't operate . My truck is a 1997 Blazer with 106000 miles.

If the abs light comes on, and you have not applied brakes, it's possible that a spark plug wire is the cause. Too much resistance make radiation, and that will cause electrical problems / false codes.

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't read it in the factory shop manual, and experienced it myself.

Need more diagnostic clues here tho' for your case...
