some where on this forum site there is a post concerning painting a vehicle for under like 100 .oo....

gives step by step instructions...very impressive for enamel paint applied with a paint brush/roller....many pictures I couldn't believe it was done with a brush/roller..

since you are lazy , I would give the surface a good sanding/feathering and then have MAACO paint it...winter is here, by spring if not painted it will look like a rust bucket...

Primer is nothing more than a spunge! If there is bare metal under it it will rust that much faster with just primer over it. Unless you want to do all that work over again than get some color on it!

Well he could use an epoxy primer, it acts as an sealer too so it will be fine under rainy weather I would keep it outta the snow though. But that would probably last or be better then some crap ass Macco job(depending on if that macco actually does good work) Bad is its not so easy to sand vs etching primer. You will have to scuff it real good when it comes time to paint.

etching primer is what will not last a whole winter it does not seal an actually pulls moisture in. Good on this primer is that its easy to sand

accually what you see on there now is a matte black paint i put it over the primer so that wont happen till i can accually get to the real paintin in the spring. but thanks for the advise and for the macco thing i deliver parts to em everyday and they do the shittyest work i have ever seen. i do alot of shops and damn if you can see waves and high spots at 15-20 feet away then its time to go to another shop
