04 Honda Accord.
I have a 04 Honda Accord V6 the gears seams like they are slipping when I put the car in reverse or drive it takes a minute to get into gear, when I'm driving I have to gently press the accelerater if not the rpm will jump up to 3 and goes back down to 1 and the car will not accelerate the engine just roars really loud as if it's going to pick up. It really will not pick up when I make a complete stop and try to put up speed it will jerk and slow down and I can't pick up speed it moves really slow. Any advise on this prolem?

Re: 04 Honda Accord.
You better stop driving it and have a transmission shop look it over.

Re: 04 Honda Accord.
You might need to rebuilt/replace your tranny.
But first check the tranny fluid to see if its low. If the color is dark/brownish. low tranny oil will cause the tranny to slip and eventually causes overheat and worn out the gears. Also have your mechanic to check solinoids on the transmission to see if its malfunction before replacing the entire unit. Repair usually cost from $1000 to $2500 depending on where you go and where you get the parts. You can get a remanufacture tranny (rebuilt) for less than $1000 and installation ranges from $300 to $800 depending on the shop you go.
