SOS! 89 Town Car - won't turnover

Hi,

Need some quik help on this anyone...just sold this car 2 weeks ago to a good kid whose wife is expecting...natch 9th month and due date is this Wed!!

When you turn key - NOTHING! New battery and changed solenoid. This is the TC where you push up on directional (antitheft) to start. After thinking, remembered the same thing happened to me the last several months and when it did, just pushed up directional a few times and always started...figured maybe the momentary switch was starting to act up.

We took off steering wheel covers to see if we could locate this sw and it is NOT that easy/obvious. Is there another safety sw or relay in the starter ckt on this?...dealer mentioned something on firewall but could not locate. Any help apppreciated - thanks, wetwillie.
