92 accord no fuel

i picked this car up for free, it had bent valves. rebuilt head all new timing componets, new battery, starter, alternater. after all this the car ran perfectly fine and was in time and all valve lash was adjusted right. i had to replace the rear brakes and after bleeding this system realized i needed a new master cylinder. swapped that out then all of a sudden the car would crank but not start. had spark but no fuel, dropped the tank and replaced the pump assuming that if it wasnt the pump it probably needed replaced anyways the car had been sitting forever. put the new pump in and still im not getting a drop of fuel through the lines. now i know there is either a relay just for the fuel pump or it is controlled through the main relay but not sure which or where it is. im missing the cover for the inside driver side fuse panel that labels all the fuses and according to the guy from honda i talked to they dont have those diagrams. any help to why i have no fuel would be extremely helpful considering ive put some money and a lot of labor into this car and would like to start driving it!!

Re: 92 accord no fuel

The main relay module actually has two relays in the module. If there is power and it is getting through the main relay module, you should be able to hear it turn on for a few seconds when you turn the key on. If the pump is working, maybe the fuel filter if completely plugged up. There are a lot of fuses involved in operating the main relay and fuel pump and they all have to be good. Fuses involved are a 10A, 15A through the ignition switch and a 7.5A fuse. The main relay is under the driver side dash on the kick panel.

Re: 92 accord no fuel

i pulled the filter off and tried cranking it and nothing is comin through the lines and i dumped the filter out and it was clean and unclogged. ive pulled every single fuse i can find on the car and they all appear good but as far as the relays i have no idea which one is which.

well i finally broke down and took it to my mechanic. turns out it was the main relay, took him about 20 minutes and it starts up and runs like a champ
