airbag light help?
hey i've got a 97 2.2 rally sport and my airbag light stays on . can someone tell me how to get it to go off thanks

There is something wrong with your system. Could be a bad connection, most likely and most probable. I would check the one at the radiator up front. But disconnect your battery and tap the brakes a few times to kill all the power in your car before you start touching anything in the airbag system.

I have the same problem with my '97 Cavalier. I disconnected the front sensor and checked the wiring. All looked fine. How would I go about checking the sensor to see if it's good? The car was in an accident, but the airbag didn't go off. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I'm trying to sell the car.
