ford mustang shelby 350 gt hertz edition

just started working on this one



mods will be:

mesh type wheels with big lip for the back
big brembo brakes
roll cage
racing seat
rear seat delete
nitrous
some light body mod (wingless, no door handles, shaved rear blinkers ect...)
lowered of course
big fmic
and new engine.....

here's some pics

quick mock-up













what's going in (still not sure of the color of the cage)



donor car since the paint was awful!



and the heart of the beast!



exterior paint will be gloss white whit black roof and center part of the hood

now i'm going to the hobbyshop to find some parts and plastic cards

more to come!

lol yeah, i know it should keep it's heart but i wanted to do something different with this one.

i'm a big mustang fan, in fact, i had one in 2005 (my 2005 too) and this car is so nice!! well, it's wasn't a shelby, but still a stang lol

some lil updates!

found the intercooler



cuted out the bumper to make some room for that monster. i used plastci card to remake the bottom part. still have alot or work to do on it!





converting the rb26 to single turbo







finally decided to scratch build the roll cage since the green one was too small







and sanded down all the putty i've put on it and shaved the rear quarter windows







and that's it for now, still working on it!

some lil updates

still working on the cage



primed the body to see what to correct





custom bigger exhaust tips made out of aluminum tubing



and painted the turbo







more to come probably today as i'm still working on it!

I saw a GT-H today; quite a good looking car. Of course, it was sans-RB26.

just painted the body today

color is candyweiss from vw

roof and hood are custom made cf sheets
