turbo intercooler intake

i have an intake that says turbo intercooler on it , it has a rod sticking out the side of it that opens extra runners inside , can anyone give me a little schooling on this intake? 1g 2.o eagle talon

Intake as in intake manifold? Probably the infamous cyclone IM or whatever they called it, off of some JDM versions of this motor.

i saw apic of a cyclone , it said cyclone on it this one does not , but the descriptiopn fits , any info on this part , pros cons anything?
