Question Just pulled engine

I just pulled the engine out of a 91 Lumina. Engine and transaxle together as per manual. I have never done a front wheel drive engine before. Here is the question.
The engine/transaxle are still on the engine hoist. What is the best way to remove the transaxle (automatic) from here? Is there a special stand to set the transaxle on to remove it or will a regular transmission jack work?

Thanks.

Re: Just pulled engine

A trans jack will work just use care and of course the engine must be properly supported, also you must be able to turn the engine over to get the torque convertor bolts out.

Re: Just pulled engine

Thank you for your response. I really hadn't had a good look since it was late when I got the engine out yesterday. I just noticed the bottom of the transaxle is flat (duh!). I'll just whip up a short platform with wheels to set it down on to remove, that way I can move it out of the way easily.
