Re: Subaru Impreza WRC 1999 - Tamiya
You're very brave to weather this car so much.
Although, maybe you had good reason for it, as it seems there is a crack in the front window, and the co-driver wiper seems to have gone missing. But maybe this car is modelled after a specific picture, and should have a crack in the window. The weathering itself looks quite realistic, although the paint you used looks quite orange-y. But that may be an effect of your camera settings. Anyway. A brave effort. And I think it looks great. Especially the wipes across the front and side windows. Very realistic. I especially like the way you did the underside with the smears at the front. Great stuff. |

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC 1999 - Tamiya
I think you've done great weathering on this build, and really love the little details like how you've 'wiped' away the dirt from the windows and rear lights...it brings so much more life into it.
And how you've managed to crack the windscreen is pretty impressive. If you cracked it by accident...very nice recovery by making it seem deliberate. If you cracked it by hand....I'm very impressed with the skill it took, not to snap the entire window in half! Great stuff!

if the wiper's broken, how's that side still clean?
