Ford ranger 99-05

I found the problem with my 99 ranger with no 4x4 low and over drive. My ABS light was on and the code reader said bad circuit in the rear ABS sensor. I changed the sensor and the same problem. I checked the wires going to the sensor and they were rusted on the inside. Do not get fooled by all the covers on the wires. I changed the wires and all my problems was solved.

Re: Ford ranger 99-05

Thanks for this information. I just received a 2002 Ranger, and if I notice a problem like this I will know how to fix it.
