94 sport rattling
My dad owns a 94 jeep cherokee sport and he let me borrow it a few days ago and i noticed a rattling sound coming out of the right side of the front end and it has me worried seeing as to how it's his only vehicle and he takes out of town trips a lot. I've had it on a two post lift and couldn't find anything loose or rattling. the 4 wheel drive works perfectly it holds straight down the road it doesn't pull or anything like that it just rattles when you hit a bump with the passenger side front wheel in 2 or 4 wheel drive. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be very helpful.

exhaust pipe can sag and slap the cross member causing a noise that sounds as if the car is about to fall apart. fi thats it,its harmless. take a jack to the bend in the pipe as its going to the exhaust manafold that should take care of it.

the exhaust pipe can sometimes creates some irrate noise but that doesnt mean that there's a problem in your car.
