88 chev manual trans top plate
88 chevy leaking bad from the top plate of the manual bull dog trans. i guess the oil is being slung up there. its where the shifter is. its about 6, 14mm bolts and its about 8 x 10 inches in size. can i take the top plate off without getting into trouble under it? whats under there that will fly out or get lost or something crazy? or is it just a plate?
