Re: oil leak

If the valve cover is cracked then you'll need to replace it with another one. When you put the replacement one on you'll have to be careful about tightening it down. If I remember correctly, you need to tighten them by staggering from one side to the other until they all have been tightened equally so you don't crack the next one. Don't overtighten either or they will crack. Just get em a hair past snug.

Re: oil leak

epoxy may work.there is no pressure so any good sealant may hold

Well that depends on many things...
1. The integrity of the motor itself.
2. The size of your injectors and pump.
3. Your tuning capabilities.

It will vary for each motor and setup depending on all these combinations plus several other mods.

Yes, our cars use the Karman Vortex style of MAF's. Do you have a datalogger for doing this or are you going to be using the o2 voltage reading? I didn't see anything in your sig about that or a wideband. That is why I am wondering... You will need one or the other to properly tune it.

Well, you can do the AFC blue wire mod, which will give you your o2 voltage on the AFC and you'll be able to halfway tune it like that. Certainly not the best way, but it'll work to an extent. I would definitely consider a wideband as one of your next few purchases before anything else...

Because its not the most accurate way to be doing it and when you do inaccurate tuning then you risk blowing something... In my opinion, a wideband or datelogger is much cheaper than rebuilding a motor.
