Oldsmobile's fastest car's since the 1990's ?

I am in a mix up when I try to think what was oldsmobile's fastest car since the 90's. I bet the olds LSS 3.8 S/C was fast 96-99, then Intrigue's, aurora's maybe, V8 aurora's 01 and up are faster than the 95-99 from road test numbers, and then the alero their's something different in each car and the road test's driver's make their numbers. So you want the best top of the line model tested like olds intrigue gls autobahn package same for aurora's and alero's v6. And owners claim they can break the stock acceleration numbers with their own launch technique. I dont know If they are other oldsmobile's but this is what I can think of.

Re: Oldsmobile's fastest car's since the 1990's ?

In terms of the 1/4 mile, the LSS would probably be the fastest, if its anything like most other cars with that engine, its capable of high 14s bone stock. The Aurora should be the next fastest, and would eventually outrun the LSS I do believe because its got the longer legs.

the Intrigue with either engine and Alero with the 3.4 would probably be pretty close. Ive tangled with a car or two that most likely had the 3.4 out on the open road which is where the 3.5 shines, and shine it did.

The LSS has the most potential, because its got as much aftermarket as your wallet can handle, you could make it run 11s or 12s. The Aurora and 3.5 Intrigue have little to no aftermarket, the 3.8 Series II does have a pretty solid aftermarket, but its hard to hit 14s without a turbo.

the 3.4 alero is a bit more gutsy than the 3.8l in my intrigue, off the line....but from a rolling start the 3.8l puts the 3.4 to shame (if you want to drive it that hard)
