1996 Lumina starting problem

Hello,
I have a 1996 Lumina 3.1 v6 it will start fine then you let it run for a min or two and turn it off. When you try to restart all it will do is crank. Let it sit for a few mins and it will start fine. I have replaced the starter not sure where to go from here. Any ideals what it could be? Thank you for your help in advice.
Ernie

Welcome to AF, when this happens, check for spark at the plugs and fuel pressure at the rail, basic initial diagnostics for a crank no start issue, also check for fuel in the vacuum hose at the pressure regulator.

Maxwedge has a good answer. I had a starter replaced, and the wire got lose. Make sure the wire is good.
