1992 Ranger Can't fill gas tank
When I try to dispense fuel into my tank it just spits back out. It looks like the inner hose has slipped down. Can it be pulled back up? I can reach it with a set of long needlenose plieers.

Their should be a hose where the neck connects to the tank. Look from the bottom with a flashlight. It fits like installing a radiator hose. Reinstall it with a new clamp. If it leaks buy a new hose at the dealer. Gas will cause a radiator hose to get hard and leak I tried it once.

What did you find somebody going around a locking gas cap?
