93 tc windows wont work

can any one tell me how to fix the power windows on a 93 tc the motors still run put they wont go up or down

Common problem; The drive clutch inserts are shot. There's many threads in this and other forums on the subject.

PPS; I would be negligent to not mention the fact that your regulators may be shot as well. Again, there's tons of informaton here and other boards on Window Regulator R&R.

It could also be the window regulator. The cable breaks and the window stops working. You will still hear the motor running, but no up or down function.
If you find you need the whole regulator assembly, I have two from the front doors of a 93 TC I am parting out. I could sell you either one for 10.00 each plus shipping. I also have the rears but I will have to check if they are removed from the car yet. I've removed the fronts already, and I believe that they are reproduction parts.

Yes I dug this one up from way back. I haven't seen them at the auto parts stores, probably because I wasn't looking for them until now. I will look for some next time I go into town.
