82 S-10 Extended Cab Project

Hello I am new to the S-10 web site and just wanted you to know about my project truck. When I was 16 (26 years ago) I worked at a body shop and drove my bosses S-10 pick up for deliveries and loved the truck. I left and joined the military and the person who took my place wrecked the truck. My old boss let the truck sit for almost 15 yrs. I have been asking him to let me buy the truck and fix it up. Last month he gave me the truck. I took off the front clip that needs to be replaced and sanded and primed some rust places. The frame in the front needs some minor pulling. Slowly but surely I am getting all of the areas for repair lined up to be completed. Last weekend I bypassed the fuel tank and the engine started on the second crank. I will post some pictures and keep you updated. Anyone in the Atlanta area with cheap parts Interior and Exterior let me know.
