02 Jeep Liberty heater-a/c electrical problem
The connection to the heater-a/c blower has overheated and burnt the insulation from the wiring. The pin connection is oxidized badly. I spoke with several parts houses and the Jeep Dealer, they all said this part is not available. Has anyone had this problem or have any suggestions as to a repair?

If it is the power wire at the motor, you could try cleaning the pin and solder the wire to it. Make sure you insulate it well afterward. This is the only idea I have if the correct connector is not available.

Thanks, DAB77
I thought about that but the pins are recessed in a plastic socket and would be difficult to reach. I found a party in Texas that had a harness from a Jeep. It should be here soon. I hope this will solve my problem. Thanks again. |
