99 Honda Civic EX coil spring problems
My daughter lowered her car a couple of years ago and wants to bring it back to stock height. The coil springs on there now are painted blue so I am guessing whoever did the job changed the stock coil springs. I am not absolutely sure. I bought the car for her and dont remember seeing the color blue when I looked the car over plus I have done work on this vehicle and a person would remember that color. What is the easiest and cheapest way to do this? Are they hard to change?

Re: 99 Honda Civic EX coil spring problems
The best bet is scan a few classified ad forums, craigslist, etc. Maybe throw up an ad looking for them. You are bound to find someone who just lowered their car, and should practically give them away.
They are very easy to swap out, but you will need a spring compressor. |

Is a spring compressor expensive and do they work with compressed air or is it a manual ( wrench ) operation?
