The Dodge service writer is trying to tell me that this could be very normal. I find it hard to believe. Any suggestions or ideas?

Which engine?
Has it done this since new?
Is it under warranty?
Do you see any evidence of the oil consumption at the tailpipe?
Do a compression check to see if there is a weak clyinder.
Have you changed PCV?
