Humming in the back
I have a 2000 Grand Prix GTP 145,000 miles. I replaced the left front bearing last year about this time. I just had tires put on it and replaced both tie rod ends. I have not gotting a alinement yet. But I have a humming comig from the back. I have jacked up each side and check for any play on both wheels but did not find any. Could it still be a bearing making the humming. I have also spun them by hand and don't hear anything. Plus it pulls a little to the left. And when I go into a right turn and come out it does a little shudder on the left front wheel. I have check this out also and don't find any play like I did before I replaced the bearing last year. Any help would be good. Thanks

Re: Humming in the back
The humming you describe...did the front bearing sound the same before you changed it? I have a hum that just started last week and I'm thinking its the bearing. It kind of sounds like a little airplane?? Maybe I have an active imagination but thats what it sounds like to me.
