stick key in ignition and turn to crank. Check engine light blink once and then nothing kind of like a dead battery. Wait a couple of seconds and crank fine but clock reset and heated seats came on cd player sounded like it was loading a cd. Also AC on button was off and had been on when the car was stopped. Also turn signal work but don't make the same noise they did before??????? Is it time to dump this GM???? New info! Car sat 3 hours and battery dropped down to 10 volts and when starter tried it killed battery and would not charge on battery charger. Late at night so off the wal-mart for a new battery and everything is o.k. now. Still not so sure something is not pulling the battery down. Will know tomorrow!

Re: 2005 G6 no start
I was about to say it sounds like a bad battery, but I see you figured that out already. For whatever reason the G6 ( and I'm guessing other similiar cars) act very strange when the battery gets too low or is dying.
