96 1500 Acts like Brakes are on

Hopefully somebody can help me. My truck acts like it is having major brake drag when trying to initially move forward. I changed the rear brakes, wheel cylinders & Hubs. ABS light is on but brakes normal. It is extremely "Hoppy" from initial take off but it does not do it in reverse. I put it in 4 HI and it still does it so i tried 4 LO usually i would get whip lash from 4 LO but it acts like its not even in. I laid on the ground and had it put in 4 HI and the shaft to the front wheels spins when moving but it takes alot of gas to get it going initially and feels "Hoppy" any help Please! Could it be Transfer Case???

check the oil in your transmission, if it looks very dark red or smells burned you have tranny trouble. the way its acting it sounds like you should change tranny oil and filter.toivo
