I recently installed a new fuel pump and fuel filter, fuel pump kicks on but no gas sprays out of injectors, if its primed it will start but it will die out, i've checked all the fuses they're all good. fuel pressure is good. what else could be the problem?

Re: 1992 Grand Marquis No Start Problem
Have you checked fuel pressure at the rail? Need to be sure fuel is getting to injectors before we go farther. Also. look up under the right front bumper area. There are some wires there that will get water in them and corrode apart. You may need to tear apart the harness to find them. Possibly a brown wire or a green wire with red tracer.

Re: 1992 Grand Marquis No Start Problem
all right i checked the wires all the wires were in good shape, no corrosion. the injectors fill up with gas but they dont spray, i tried hooking them up to a direct hot from the battery and only two would spray. i've tried everything i know and i cant seem to figure them out, there is a black box on the drivers side fender by the firewall that looks burnt out, not sure what the box is for but the front fell off, could that be the problem and what is it? is there any other ideas on what is making the injectors not spray?

Re: 1992 Grand Marquis No Start Problem
Use a noid light and check for power to the injectors. You may have a wiring problem. Make sure they have power or it won't start.
