Which would you prefer, F1 or F1 GTR

This is a question I muse over often. Would I prefer a standard F1 road spec- perhaps in the typical silver. Or would I prefer to have an F! GTR converted to road spec?

Its a choice I chop and change over daily, so I'm throwing this out to you chaps on automotive forums...which would you prefer and why?

I'd prefer to have a road car, and then a non-converted GTR for the GT90s series.

Street legal GTR in its racing livery (a la 016R before the repaint or the UK gulf car)

I said street legal GTR but obviously my ultimate choice would be the LM (in orange of course)

Re: Which would you prefer, F1 or F1 GTR

I prefer F1 GTR's 1995-1996 and the LM. Probably the best ever made sports car on the road. I love these. But I haven't found the answer to my self about that road converted GTR's. Do they belong only to the race tracks or not..... Still the car is absolutely beatifull, even it has the registerarion plate.

And when I have watched the GTR/LM images, I feel that someting is missing that basic F1 roadcar. Maybe it is some brutality or something. But still it's very very clean and beatifull!

Difficult questions these......................

Road car for me, I can get more friends in it to share the experience.

Mind you, if I had the money for a road car, I hope I would have the money to buy both!

Indeed, I think that is what would sway me for a standard road car. It must be brilliant to have two friends sitting either side of you

You've never lived until you have experienced an ex Le-mans car on public roads, ok not exactly easy to live with or even plesant but it's an experience you won't forget.

Yes, exactly what I was thinking. Like the one in my signature, but with the LM engine.
