|
need a car
what would be an inexpencive car that i could get used that would be a decent racing car, that can be upgraded. i also need to use the car to get back and forth from school, and work so it has to be reliable, but i want it to be fast.

like i stated in the other thread you made, grab a cheap manual honda civic or something of the sort. try and find a 90s sentra se-r with the sr20de. they are pretty cheap as well and can be made fast pretty cheap. independant rear suspention, and they are known to be sleepers. i currently have a newer model of the se-r's and its very reliable with great gas milage. thing loves to be rev'd, and with an oil anaylsis at 125k with full synthetic changed at 6k, it came back fine, no seals problems, and told me to run the oil till 7500 before changing it and send it in.

reliable? cheap? well have I got a deal for you!
1999 Mitsubishi 3000gt VR-4!!! with 5000 miles on it! All 5000 of them rodded to hell, with 85.5 octane gas!  No, my suggestion is an older GTI or Celica GT-S. Reliable as hell, decent zoomzoom, and can be made pretty fast. Then when you can afford it, get something boosted and AWD.

i think we've been over this half a dozen times. Realistically guys this is prolly a 15 year old kid that has no business driving fast, let alone you all giving him ideas on anything

MZR_47 ha that is exactly what i am looking for. lol. so my plan right now is to split the car with my mom, so my price range is around 10,000-15,000 now. Still not much but better than it was. Has any one had or used a RX8?
