Smile Buildin a new System for my Caprice

Whats going on guys. Its been a long time since ive been on the forums.
Anyway im building a new system for my 95 caprice that im working on. Currently im looking at a Cadence DCW-122RVC 1500RMS Sub and a US Amps XT4000D 1500RMS Amp. My question is what do u recommend for the rest of the system( Ur personal opinion ). Also is the amp and sub currently a good setup?

Re: Buildin a new System for my Caprice

get rid of that us amp. sry but the xterminater line sucks and is just a marketing gimmick. that amp does around 850-1000 rms at 1 ohm not 1500. and since u are going with an candence sub i would say u are leaning more towards spl then sq am i right

Re: Buildin a new System for my Caprice

No real goals just a good overall audio system. Its more of just a chill car. What amp would you recommend then instead of the US AMP?

Re: Buildin a new System for my Caprice

My preferences for car audio are probably out of most peoples goals. I tend to go for somewhat to very expensive sound quality equipment. I use seperate midrange and tweeters with a seperate amp for each channel. If I am competing, I also have a seperate set of midbass drivers with seperate amp channels for them as well. You need to decide how "far" you want to go with it, and how much you want to spend.

its going to require some mdf work, but a good audio shop can handle it.
