If we knew what you were talking about it would make more sense.

Is "the red stuff" or "the green stuff" a brand of brake pad, or an additive, or what?

I heard the green stuff pads are nice but they create a lot of dust (more than normal)

the pads I have on the EX are $4.99 AutoZone specials... when you hit the brakes it smells like electrical burning. Stinky but what a value! LOL

:hehehe: I remember one time I was goin down a hill and mine overheated, had to yank the ebrake and then the people behind me were really wondering wtf I was doing ... my soda then tipped up out of my "type-s" cupholer and spilled on part of my dash and fastrak transponder

-- If anyone is wondering what 'fastrak' is, its for going over toll bridges here in CA, you dont have to give em money, a radio wave detects it in your car and it deducts the money from your prepaid account. Saves time cause you just mob through the fastrak lane.

your brakes starting to squeak is your cars way of warning you that it is almost time for new ones, soon they will sound like that as you mob down the road and are not hitting the brakes.

Personally I think brake pads are brake pads ... just get decent ones and you will be aight.

I cant believe you found half of the cool shit for the acclaim that you did ... then again when I got my sedan I thought they wouldnt make shit for it ... and at least there is some stuff.

My old MG was amazing though, there is an entire industry dedicated to making parts for it ... sure they were expensive but not that expensive and it was always new parts.

melt i felt the same way. When i started looking around for cars, i would go on the internet, or look around in magazines, to see if they made anything for that type of car. and thats when i decided to get the honda, because A.) it was cheap and B.) parts were world wide.
